Running woes...

I haven't been running as regular recently. Not since
running home from work last week and stopping 3 times.
I just put it down to the weather warming up but now
I'm not so sure. I've started playing 5-a-side football
each week and it's having a knock-on effect with my
running... I'm feeling pains'n strains in my body and
legs that I don't usually feel... running is becoming
harder.
I've decided to shorten my runs (3 milers), but I'll keep them very regular. I find out this month if I've been accepted into the New York Marathon, I'll decide then where to take my training.
PS... I've now worn out my Nike+ trainers and have just ordered a pair of NIKE AIR STRUCTURE TRIAX+ 10.
